For those who love swirlin' & twirlin' sheer femininity & comfort, Fabindia offers an updated version of the traditional flared Indian skirt. Our ghera skirts are gathered at the waist & flare out in a full circle that consumes 4 meters of fabric. Ghera literally means perimeter or circumference of the fabric in a reference to the fullness of the circle skirt. It is a traditional skirt from the desert areas of India with lots of gode, swirls around when you walk.The pure cotton fabric is a unique Jaipur woodblock print design with piping on the hem & a 2" facing along the inside hem to ensure a beautiful drape. A 2" wide waistband & side drawstring ensure a comfortable cinched waistline.
